Equivalent processors

Hi,

We have a server AD028A (HP 9000 RP7440 12-PROCESSOR SERVER). This server works with PA-8900 servers.

We want upgrade to 16 CPUs. Refurbished is the only opion.

The original processor is AD110.  I see in partsurfer that there are two models.

AB313-69012: Processor kit - CPU module, Dual-Core, PA-8900, 1.068GHz, 3MB cache, 64MB L2 cache - Includes two aligment rods

and

AD110-69001: Processor kit - CPU module, Dual-Core, PA-8900, 1.068GHz, 3MB cache, 64MB L2 cache - Includes two aligment rods

My question is,

This two modes are "equals" ? What means the numbers 69012 and 69001 ?

Thanks in advance.

Roger

Re: Equivalent processors

AD110-69001 - is 1Ghz 64MB PA8900 CPU Module

AB313-69012 - is CELL Board with 2 nos of above CPUs(1Ghz, 64MB) installed in it

There is description error. Thanks for notifying.
