Do these servers have the power cables dangling for the unused disk slots? Or do I need to purchase the power cable too?
Thanks for the help

drives. The servers are production machines that cannot be brought down, to check the cage.
Of course when I go to add the disks, I'll be bringing the machine down. I would hate to open the cage, see no power chords, and all I have are the disks.... my bad

Re: HP 9000 K210 / K220 Adding disks, do I need power cables
Instead I got a Y power splitter cable at frys. It has 2 female ends and a male end that is the primary source. I plan on using both female ends.
http://www.frys.com/product/4357285?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG $3.49
Should work. Probably need to tape off the male end to make sure it doesn't touch anything to cause a short...
Any comments?
