jim,
can you read through the error logs in the mp? does the terminal work here, i guess it does as you can issue the command co?
have you tried the control ecf to get back the write access perhaps?
what do the lights show on the server, and check the power/fan status if you can in the MP
Sounds more like the server isnt actually powering up properly, hence no console
