How HP servers compare to Suns

Can anyone tell me which HP server model has similar performance to a Sun E450? Are there good sites that have performance comparison?

TIA,
Rich

Re: How HP servers compare to Suns

I have a K360 that is working harder than the E450 we have (K360 with 2 procs and 2GB RAM - E450 2PROC 300MHz 500MB MB RAM)
the K is turning with 6 oracle databases (diff versions 7.XX & 8.XX) plus a sybase db
the E450 2 oracle db plus webserver.
E450 better I/O bandwith...
But the K with 2 FWSCSI in parallel meets the E450 in real life...
So I would say an entry level L class would be equivalent

Rich,
for my understanding are the UE450 and the L-Class in the same arena.
Visit the following site for more information: http://www.unixsolutions.hp.com/products/servers/lclass/performance/index.html

Victor and Patrick,

Thanks for the input. The HP site shows some good comparisons, but I was hoping for an independant test results.
