How to reach the MP (Management Processor)?

Hello,
whe I try to connect to some of our HPUX-systems using the remote console, I get the "GSP>" prompt insted the "MP>" prompt.

How can I reach the "Management Processer" ("MP: ") to have the command like "UC: User Configuration".

Thanks for hints.

Re: How to reach the MP (Management Processor)?

GSP is the precedessor of MP.

If a system has GSP, it does not have MP, and vice versa.

The GSP> prompt is equivalent to the MP> prompt. A GSP is very much similar to MP, but some functions may be slightly different. Some functionality may or may not exist, depending on server hardware model and GSP firmware version.

In a GSP, the users are configured using the SO command.

Depending on server model and/or GSP firmware version, the SO command may either be accessible directly from the Main Menu of the GSP, or you may have to enter the Command Menu (with command CM) first.
