[L1000] Threshold for shutting down the server for high temperature
Hello,
How could I get the threshold temperature for which my server is automatically stopped?
Would it be possible to change this threshold?
Thks & Rgds,
Fred

Re: [L1000] Threshold for shutting down the server for high temperature
If I'm not mistaken (for L class) if the incoming air temp falls between 31->35C the OVERTEMP_CRIT event will activate. Beyond that (ie >35C), the OS shuts down. See /etc/envd.conf file ..
...
OVERTEMP_EMERG:y
/usr/sbin/reboot -qh
...
It's not possible to change the threshold and you can't even find out what's the current temp reading from the temp probe.
