we are doing remote support.Recently problem with the console.So vendor just replace the card. but we are not able to access the machine. Any idea why MAC address is showing 0?
MAC address : 00:00:00:00:00:00

MP:CM> ls

I want to say that we are not able to ping the console.The o/p of LS comand sent us by the vendor.is there any problem in the card or some thing else?

LAN status: UP and RUNNING

Step1 :- Check with your Network Admin , to reset the switch settings ,for your console port, to clear the abouts of network issue

Step2 :- you can also reconfigure check below link

Since the MP is reporting it's own LAN card is all zeros, it would appear that the new card is also defective.
