Dear All
In one of our system,We have found MP card not working. We give XD -r from MP but no works. We also shutdown the server and unplug all power cables then wait 1 minutes and then again reinsert all power cables. Also MP card not works.
Now my question is did we replace the faulty mp card with the new one. If we replace then is there any chance to mismatch MP firmware with the current system firmware? Now what should i need to do?
Please help me
Thanks
Minhaz

Hello,
>If we replace then is there any chance to mismatch MP firmware with the current system firmware?
yes, this may happen. You would need to up- or downgrade the Core I/O firmware & FPGA then.
>Now what should i need to do?
open a HP support call
By the way, what exactly do you mean with "MP card not working" ?
Did you connect to the MASTER MP (the bottom MP, 1) via a serial null modem cable and a terminal program like hyperterm ?
Any output after powercycling the MP ?
Any LEDs lit on one of the MPs ?
best regards
Stefan
