Re: Power supply problem
It may have happened that the power supply has not failed yet but might have lost communication for a few seconds.
Do the following:
Run command parstatus and see what o/p you get in the Cabinet Section - Bulk power supplies.
Let me know.

Re: Power supply problem
Whatever o/p you get to the parstatus command, i advise you to log a call with HP and send them the event log. They will definately ask you to send MP logs and if it has not failed and this being the first instance of the event, will ask you to monitor it. If you get the repeat of the same event, they will advise to get it replaced. However, if it has failed this time (after HP has confirmed), they will replace it.

Ashish

Re: Power supply problem
There nothing u can do untill and unless u are a h/w engineer.
Your disks seems to be fine , u have to check power suppy now for any fault.
For the time being u can go to GSP prompt(go to console and press ctrl-B)
and give command
GSP>ps
will show current status of power supply.
BUT H/W case is must if u want to confirm your poer suppy is OK and it will not behave in this manner again.

Re: Power supply problem
Do let us know the o/p you get for power supply. I probably think, it has not failed but to be on a safer side it is best to get it confirmed with HP.
Awaiting your reply.

Ashish
