RP3410 Not powering on

Hi,

One of my RP3410 is not starting its System LED (Red and Blinking)

below are the error i am getting on SL

The baseboard management controller is reporting an alert level 7 - serious.

Can you switch the logs to text mode please?


Means "not starting" not booting or not powering on?

There is a power problem somewhere. Does it power on? Maybe the power supply delivers a bad voltage ...

If you and I are to believe the MP controller log and assume that power supply is outputting good voltage, there is only one thing to blame which is the system's main board at the point it connects to the power supply.

Instead of wasting time here, trying to figure out the problem, you should call HP for hardware service if you have not done t already. This is not something you can self-repair.

This does NOT mean power is good, it is just the name of the reporting sensor.

Hmm, that's very confusing. Why not call it "Voltage Sensor"?

thanks for advice
I agree with your comment , if its hardware problem nothing much can be done.I am looking for exact component/part error from BMC error code so i can arrange replacement part from some other faulty system which is suffering from some other issue.

Previous server generations did talk in hex only - logs should be analyzed by experts.

Either the power supply it self (you have only one) or the system board is bad.

Another part is unlikely.
