Can anyone please tell me the difference between an A6866A sx1000 chipset and A9837A sx2000 chipset cell boards.

This is the good source of information to know the difference between sx1000 and sx2000 chipset.

sx2000 was basically developed for Montecito processor and future processors down the line. Thus with Montecito and sx2000 chipset you get almost double the performance as that with sx1000 with earlier processors. Moreover it offers the new Global Shared Memory (GSM) which is a type of memory sharing that allows nPartitions in the same complex to communicate with each other
