mkboot command syntax

Dear Concern

During root disk replacement we use following string using mkboot command to write AUTO file
#mkboot-a "hpux -lq (0;)/stand/vmunix" /dev/dsk/c0t6d0

My query is why we use (;0)in the above string

**Our server model is RP7420 and OS version B.11.11

Thanks
Minhaz

Re: mkboot command syntax

This is historic, but not needed.

AFAIR "man mkboot" will tell you.

Hope this helps!
