no BCH on rp7410
Our customer is not able to boot partition 0 (one cell in slot 1) of the rp7410 server.
I am not getting the BCH main menu.
The MP>VFP was showing the following :
"Boot_Cell_will_Halt
MEM_HATL_CELL
MEM_PD_GET_TIME_FAILED
MEM_DIMM_ERR_DEALLOCATED
BLOWR_FAIL"
NB: Memory DIMMs location:
4 x 512MB (A6097A)in rank 0
4 x 256MB (A6802A)in rank 1
I switched the DIMMs between ranks and i used only one rank with either DIMMs type but i am still facing the same problem.
Please advise.
Regards
Roger

Are the fans all turning?
A Google or Forum search for "BLOWR_FAIL"
might be interesting. For example:

Re: no BCH on rp7410
I think the problem is with the deallocated Memory not with the fans.

Re: no BCH on rp7410
yes there are mem fail as well as the blower fail, mem fail can cause you not get the BCH prompt. please log a hardware case with HP, might be cell board realted problem.
can you also give the SL and SEL that is system event logs that will be more clearer.
