question on rp8440 memory upgrade
I have a rp8440 with 3 nPars. I need to upgrade memory on one of the nPar. My question is - does the entire complex need to shutdown if I only want upgrade memory on only one of the nPar? Thx in advance.

Re: question on rp8440 memory upgrade
No. Shutdown the npar, then from the MP type CM, then PE, and choose the cell that belongs to that npar. Power down the cell, remove it, and upgrade the memory. Put the cell back in, and from the MP, power up the cell. You're good to go!!
