rp8240 doesn't see tape on second MP's SCSI bus

Hi all,

I recently installed an rp8420, and it has a disk array connected to the upper MP's SCSI bus which shows up just fine, along with the internal drives.

But a tape drive connected to the lower MP's SCSI bus doesn't appear. There's no sign of it in ioscan, or in STM.

STM shows the upper MP's SCSI bus with the disk array at 0/0/0/3, and there's a second set of SCSI busses on cell 1 at 1/0/0, including 1/0/0/3 - is this the lower MP's SCSI bus? Maybe there's just a problem with the tape drive and/or the cabling to it?

The box is running HP-UX 11.11, and all the firmware was upgraded to the latest revisions.

Thanks for any information you can offer.

Path 1/0/0/3/1 is correct. Check cable, terminator and device now.

Hope this helps!
