Re: CPU and memory upgradation of rx6600 and rp4440
For CPU upgradation, you can follow the following steps:
1. Take system backup: make_tape_recovery
2. Collect MP Log: Login to MP, take the output of mp by df
3. Server Shutdown: Shutdown the system by: shutdown ├в hy 0
4. Power off the system: Login to MP and turn off the power
5. Removing the side cover remove the cell board
6. Add CPU in the empty CPU slot of the desired cell
7. Reseat the cell-board and also the cover
7. Power on the server
8. Check the CPU is configured or not: Interrupt the boot by pressing any key within the 10 second window: Main Menu: Enter command or Menu> co
Configuration Menu> CPU to get the CPU list and check or check from cstm output.
