Configure UPS on RP5470

We had a APC Powerchute UPS on the RP5470, but now we want to use the HP PowerTrust (A2997A) from our old K210. We have physically connected the UPS power and cable to the mux, but it is not recognized.

What do I need to do?

Thank you.

Re: Configure UPS on RP5470

The powertrust will be monitored by ups_mond. Ensure to configure the correct port, use the correct cable and enable the daemon in inittab file.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Configure UPS on RP5470

... I forgot to say, depending on your GSP firmware you probably need to patch your OS.

Hope this helps!

Hope this helps!
