Hi guys,
Looking for any help possible on this. Tonight we need to power down a HP9000 K420 and a K370. We don;t have anyone in the organisation that has any knowledge of these servers. I'm looking for anyone who can give me some advice on the shutdown process. I'm assuming:
1. UNIX team shutdown UNIX OS - I assume my team know how to do this but if someone can confirm command
2. On the fron of the server turn the 'Key' to 'Standby'
3. Remove power cable from server
4. Using power button on front shutdown HP Storage Enclosures
5. Remove power from HP Storage Enclosures
Start-up
1. Insert powercables into HP Storage Enclosures
2. Switch on HP Storage Enclosures using power button on front (wait 10 minutes)
3. Insert power cable into HP K9000
4. Turn key on HP K9000 to On
Should that now boot?
Any advise would be amazing!
Chris
4. Using power button on front shutdown
