Re: HP server down required info logs etc
If HP need logs, they will tell you what they want to see and how to get them.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP server down required info logs etc
In general, all current servers have an MP that logs hardware related events.
You can connect to MP and get a short help by typing
MP> he li
which lists the available commands.
Usually with "sl" or "sel" you get the system logs, with "sysrev" you get the firmware information about the server itself.
For HBAs it depends ...
As said, if HP wants to have specific information (e.g. PIM, MCA or something) they will tell you.
If you want to have examples, just browse previous questions in the HP9000 and Integrity server forums.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP server down required info logs etc
Where we want to start?
At G/H/I... class?
At D/R/K-class?
At A/L/N-class?
At T- or V-class?
At X- or S-class???
At rp3xx0/rp4440?
Any other server model?
Blades?
Later models?
Earlier models?
Integrities?
The list is long too...
Please be a bit more specific!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
