KVM Switch for RP4440

Hi,

I would apperciate if some one helps to configure the KVM switch for RP4440 server.And also kindly confirm whether i can get remote console login for the KVM switch with IP based.I had 4 RP4440 servers to be configure with KVM and IP based console remotely from my desktop to enable the CDE session.

Hi Dharmu,

the standard model doesn't have VGA. This port is disabled and only works in the Integrity server rx4640 (same chassis).

So a KVM switch can only be connected via serial line, but for this you can also use the built-in MP IP connection.

You can work with CDE via "normal" IP network, so I think you don't really need any KVM switch or you can't even use it.
