http://docs.hp.com/en/3687/rp7400_customer_hardwaremanual.pdf

This manual is for the Nclass (rp7400). Go to the section called "I/O Scan-to-Slot Matrix". There is a similar doc for the Lclass:

http://docs.hp.com/en/A5191-96022/A5191-96022.pdf

Go to the section called "Installing Peripheral Component Interconnect Cards".

Shalom,

I'd run a straight ioscan on the system and use the server documenation at http://docs.hp.com as a reality check.

Re: L2000 & N Class : slot information .

Several options:

1) refer to the manual

2) read the chassis label

Hope this helps!
