Have you tried ioscan using -C to restrict it to processors?

The HP 9000 rp3440 is a symmetrical multiprocessing (SMP) server supporting up to two, two core PA-8900 processors (two cores per processor, four cores maximum system).

It looks like ioscan isn't detailed enough:

$ model

9000/800/rp3440

$ /usr/sbin/ioscan -f -k -C processor
Class       I  H/W Path  Driver    S/W State H/W Type  Description
===================================================================
processor   0  128       processor CLAIMED   PROCESSOR Processor
processor   1  129       processor CLAIMED   PROCESSOR Processor
processor   2  152       processor CLAIMED   PROCESSOR Processor
processor   3  153       processor CLAIMED   PROCESSOR Processor

>From BCH Menu,

I can't get to that while the system is up?
