I am facing io performance issue on rp8400 server.
Its simple configuration no napr or vpar.
2 cell baord/8PCU/12GB /Internal 4 disk/os 11.31
test is file of 300 mb & if I run copy it take 35 second to copy the file
/home>time cp test test1
other server e.g rx2660 takes only 6 seconds.
Let me know if any tunning required for this.

Solution
The internal disks of a rp8400 are Ultra-2, the internal disks of a rx2660 are SAS - this is at least 4 times faster.
Anyway, your disks are too slow - what do you get from
# scsictl -c get_target_parm /dev/rdsk/c2t0d0
(use the appropriate device file for your disk)!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
