Re: System Event log

Guys,
how can i find the root cause of this issue?

Power supply 1 : A/C disconnected or out of range.

Power cable is OK. Is it problem of power supply unit in server? How can i determinate it?

Re: System Event log

A/C disconnected or out of range.

Have you checked that power point? Is there any power in that outlet ? Have you checked the cable ?

Re: System Event log

What type of server do you have? What HP-UX version?
Have you tried unplugging and plugging the cords? (Both ends.)

Re: System Event log

rp 3440, HP-UX 11.11
unplugging power cable and changing outlet doesn't change the situation... i guess this is hardware problem, because the system fault is the same as Sensor: Voltage - 1.5V MP PwrGood

Re: System Event log

Don't forget to check the Firmware revision:

Some of these misleading messages were clarified in later versions.

Re: System Event log

Hi,

It is time to replace the Power Supply.

Before that, please log a case with HP Support. I will analyse the System Log Events.

The system log events will give a better information ,what is happening over in the system.

The SL logs will be the only hope of analysis if the power supply at the site is good.

HTH,
