Upgrade Memory 16GB for rp5470 problems
I installed 2 modules with 8GB equal 16GB but when start the equipament I take this error:
SOURCE: 7 = MEMORY
SOURCE DETAIL: 6 Physical Memory
SOURCE ID: FF
A = ECC ERROR
Wath's this problem?

What modules do you have? Looks like they are not intended for this system.

you have faulty or incompatible memory installed.
A = ECC ERROR
what youve posted doesnt telll us much though.
either reduce it and build it up a module at a time to find the faulty module or if you can get to pdc(BCH) then have alook at the memory config listed here.

I have a rp5470 with 4Gb Memory. I need to do an upgrade to 16GB. I have 2 extend memory whit 8 slot and memory modules of the 1GB. When I put this 2 extendes memory i get this error:
SOURCE: 7 = MEMORY

A = ECC ERROR
But when I put one extend. It run.

You probably have a (very) bad dimm. Try to investigate which one it is. Do you reach the start menu with all dimms installed?
