How can I check what type of Memory Extender Board have installed on my server. As shown in the configuration that was printed, I would say it has a 32 DIMM.
What is your comment?

Re: Upgrade memory rp4440
According to the manual "User Service Guide," there are 2 types of memory boards of 16 DIMM (default) and optional 32-DIMM.
According to the command which shows cstm my machine, there are 12 DIMM 1024MB and 8 DIMM 512MB. In total there are 20 DIMM installed according to command.

Re: Upgrade memory rp4440
But I think your STM is too old, it must list empty slots also, example:
Memory Board Inventory
DIMM Slot Size (MB)
--------- ---------
0A 2048
0B 2048
0C 2048
0D 2048
1A 2048
1B 2048
1C 2048
1D 2048
2A 0
2B 0
2C 0
2D 0
3A 0
3B 0
3C 0
3D 0
--------- ---------
System Total (MB): 16384
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Upgrade memory rp4440
Torsten is right, your STM is way too old. Many issues were fixed in hardware reporting in later versions. If you want accurate information you need to update your tools and patches.
