Re: booting rp7410
if yes connect to it using putty (you can download from net) from your desktop.
then you can capture the output.
If no IP assigned then connect MP to network and assign an IP.

Re: booting rp7410
Yes it has an ip, 192.168.1.10 with the same GW 192.168.1.10 but i can't connect to it. My IP is 192.168.1.67 with GW - 192.168.1.7.
But i have a new situation here.
From CO i rebooted the partition and now i'm getting this error:
"The Boot ACtion for this path specifies that PDC stop at BCH."
And the power didn't went down anymore. all LAN and Fiber links at the back a active, the ATTENTION led at fron panel is not orange.
The onlye new things i did was run the MP -> SL-->E-->D and many lines scrolled down on my screen.
how can i findout the right path from booting or the solutions because now at least the power is ON.
reagrds.

Re: booting rp7410
Primary bootpath : 1/0/0/3/0.6.0
Alternate bootpath : 1/0/1/0/0/1/1.6.0
Autoboot is OFF (disabled)
Autosearch is OFF (disabled)
Note: The interpretation of Autoboot and Autosearch has changed for
systems that support hardware partitions. Please refer to the manpage.

Re: booting rp7410
Its good thats it come back up.
From the logs you have a failed disk, probably just one if you have multiple paths to the same lun?
The Fibre cards are showing errors due to the disk/lun been unaccessible most likely.
you also appear to have a failed fan in the system as well. which could be down to the heat issue's you are also experiencing.
what is the temperature in the server room? Seems too high. This and failed fans is not a good mix for your hardware. You are probably lucky it shut down and started again.
Also you are missing soem AC lines in to the server.
Check the power and fans from within the MP.
Also check all the disks/luns leds as well.

Re: booting rp7410
use
# setboot -b on
regarding this message:
the room is just too warm.
Depending on the overtemp value the system will shutdown, if the temp. is ~2 or 3 degrees higher it will power off to prevent serious damage.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
