iLO MP Power Supply Fault - rp3410
I have a strange error reported by the iLO MP on an rp3410 server.
From the "Server Status" tab, the application reports an (unexhistent, it is functioning and attached to an UPS!) error on the Power Supply.
System Power: On
Temperature: Normal
Power Supplies
Power Supply 0: Fault Type 0
Power Supply 1: Not Installed -
Fans
Fan 0: Normal
Fan 1: Normal
Fan 2: Normal
Fan 3: Normal
Fan 4: Normal
Fan 5: Normal
Fan 6: Normal
Fan 7: Normal
System Processors
Monarch Processor: 0
Processor Module 0: Installed and Configured
Processor Module 1: Not Installed
Can anybody please help me solve this error ?
I think it is not related to a real hardware error.
Thank you
Enrico

it should be something like this :
SYSREV
Current firmware revision ( maybe there is some fix on the website )
MP FW : E.03.32
BMC FW : 03.52
System FW : 46.34

Re: iLO MP Power Supply Fault - rp3410
Unfortunately the firmware version is already at the latest revision. (E.3.32)
iLO MP: E.03.32
BMC: 03.52
EFI:
System Firmware: 46.34
After an MP reset, through the "XD -R" command, the error is still there.
Thank you

Re: iLO MP Power Supply Fault - rp3410
in your case you should open a HW case on HP Support, call them and you need to know serial number or SAID your support contract.

Re: iLO MP Power Supply Fault - rp3410
or try to shutdown the server and remove the power suply and put it to the second bay, only for test.

Re: iLO MP Power Supply Fault - rp3410
Manual shutdown (shutdown -h now)
Powered off the system through MP
Removed and reattached the power cords
startup the system
And the error went away, now MP reports status "Normal"
Thank you
