the mp is seperate to the os, so run level is irelevant
login to the mp and dependant upon the type of system you have you either run sysrev command or type he for help.
this will list the mp fw version

2) go to SMH, select MP (left column) and connect (again directly) to the MP - now the GUI.

On a rp3440 you can also get the pdc firmware revision from the /var/tombstones/ts99 file.

in /var/tombstones/ts99 file ,,, i cant able to find the mp firmware version..
i can only able to see cpu revision no.. and all others are in hexadecimal no ..
can u plz tell me the correct line of that file

the MP firmware is different from the PDC firmware.
you cannot get the MP firmware from the syslog file
use the methods provided earlier
