As HP closed the PA-RISC CPU development labs long ago, there are no new PA-RISC CPU designs in development. PA-8900 will remain the last PA-RISC CPU model.

HP stopped selling any new PA-RISC servers at the end of 2008.

31-Dec-2009 (tomorrow!) will be the last day HP accepts any orders for PA-RISC-specific add-on hardware and upgrades.

Spare parts will be available at least until 2013. This deadline *may* be extended if there is enough demand (=significant profit) for HP to do that.
