rp 5430 server Not Power On

Dear All

I am having HP rp-5430 server. The system won't power on when front panel power switch is turned on. the GSP error messages is:

to decrease the temperature
- I remove power cord from server for 2h and increase climatisation.
but I have the same problem

Take a thermometer and measure the ambient temperature. What do you get?

hi,

well you are within the operating temperature range of 5-35c so should be ok now. also the ps output looks normal for a system not powered on.

you may have a problem with the power monitor pca? could you open the top of the server and see what or which if any leds are on/blinking on the power monitor pca. this is the upright board at the side of the server from the system board.

when you try and power the server on do you get anything on the local console output? does it start and stop or just dead? and chassis codes

also see this manual for troubleshooting and checking the voltages present to see what is working

also the timer popping error is due to the firmware most likely, of the GSP.

type he in the gsp to see what version you have installed
