Re: server booting problem
hi,
well people are good round here, but not that good we can see what you have or mean?
what is the server?
what is it doing? or not doing?
what is on the console?
which led's are glowing? and what colour?
how far does the server get in booting? to PDC? further? or not evena as far?
Andy

Re: server booting problem
Hi Nitin,
Yes as mentioned by Andrew, you need to be more informative if you issue need to be addressed. Like in ur case u mentioned its a HP9K series server and its not booting.
Tell us which model of HP9K box are we looking into here. Was it working before or is it a new setup ? If it was working was there any change made to the machine off late ?
Also if you are able to access the console and boot from there if yes whats the error message or where does it stop the boot process.
Based on the model we may check certain logs and deside if there is any hardware fault or is it a config issue.
