server upgrade

hi all
i have HP 9000 rp7420 Server Product Number(AB205A)with hp-ux 11iv1 i want to upgrade this server, but i dont know how i can do that like the maximum memory and CPU and internal storage etc...
any help please

i have read this specs before, but it talk about HP Server rp7410 Upgrades to HP 9000 rp7420 Server,

Not really. The document is about rp7410 and rp7420.

Read Configuration section:

You can find out the memory options, Supported I/O Cards, Internal Disk Drive, Supported Processors for both rp7410 and rp7420.

with 1 cell and 4 CPU and 1 I/O and 8 GB of memory
can i add another cell and another cpu and I/O and memory etc.. and what is the maximum for each one

From the very same document, you can find out this:

Without adding another cell, you can add 4 more processors (resulting a total of 16 cores). If you have PA-RISC processors, then you must install only PA-RISC processors.

The maximum memory without the second cell board is 64 GB per cell board.

In the memory configuration section you could find listed the available memory p/n.

my server is PA-RISC , but what about the internal storage , i have just two HDD installed.

Did you checked the Internal Disk Drives section?

You have available both 10k and 15k HDD, up to 300G. P/n you can take from the specified table.

this is the maximum that a rp7420 can do:

RP7420
8 x 1.1GHz dual core PA8900 CPUs (16 cores)
2 x cell boards
8 x 16GB Memory kits (kit = 4 memory dimms)
2 x core I/O
4 x 300GB 15k internal disk drives
1 x DVD or Tape drive
4 x power supplies
