check the attachment.
there are 15 VRMs on CELL 0 of this rp7420, now VRM #2 "VOLTAGE FAULT",
1, what would happen if I don't replace this failed VRM?
2, what function each VRM on this CELL serves?
3, would there be VRM at HP parts store?
4, what those "1"s above "VRM's" stand for?
1 1 1 1 1 1
VRM's 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 1 2 3 4 5
regards
Stephen

Re: what would happen when one VRM failed on CELL of rp7420?
1) something will not work
2) They delivery different voltages to the cell components
3) check partsurfer.hp.com , some VRMs are FRUs
4) this is 10, 11 , ... 15 (read from top)
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

SolutionHP's part # for this VRM is 0950-4122 or 0950-4708. However, there is a warning to be aware of. All of the low voltage VRMs should be of the same manufacturer. So, when you replace the part check to be sure else the cell power rails may become unstable.
If you can, contact HP Support for help on this if needed.
