How to proceed to build a new server

Hi Gurus, I am a new bee for this HP-UX world, need to build a server box, server Hardware model is HP RP7420, what i need to know before i get started, what are the utilites i need to have and when to perform.
my basic query is what to check in the HP Hardware. please advise

Read through the hpux 11iv1 or 11iv2 installation guide.

1) insert installation cd
2) boot installation cd
3) select installation specific
4) hit go

after that there are a thousand options, from host configs to security to tuning.
