Third party tools.

Hi ,

What are the third party tools available in HP-UX ?, and What purpose those tools are used ?, If possible send any documents you have.

BMC patrol ,Measurewear , ignite-UX ,perfview ,...etc.

Ignite comes from:
http://software.hp.com

It is NOT a third party tool. It is a HP tool.

Search for Internet Express to get access to 69 third party tools.

perfview and performance products are on the Applications CD/DVD though they may be available trial online as well.

Of the products you mentioned, only Patrol is third-party.

BMC patrol ,Measurewear , ignite-UX ,perfview ,...etc

These are mostly purchased products from the software vendors.

Ignite is a free utility from HP
Measureware is from HP as well, and is used to provide the information for Glance and Perfview (purchased products)

ITO is a HP orduct for centrally monitoring systems IBM's version is Tivoli (I think)

There is autosys from CA (job scheduler) as as several other apps

Netbackup is a back tool that competes with HP's Data Protector
