백업관련 에러입니다.

Data Protector could not store a part of the detail catalog during the backup or import. All files that are backed up on the same device after this message are not marked as backed up in the Data Protector Internal Database. Backup is still valid and

restore of complete objects is possible.



이렇게 설명되어 있습니다. 모든 백업이 complete/error로 끝나고 있습니다. 실제 어떠한 action을 취해주어야 할까요?

Data Protector를 사용하여 Backup 을 받으시면 DataProtector

자체가 가지고 있는 DB가 있습니다.

현재 DB 자체에 문제가 있거나 Full 이 나 있는 상태입니다.

DataProtecotr DB의 역할은 Device 정보, Backup을 받은 File에

대한 정보(Catalog)등이 있습니다. Backup을 구성하실때 Log all,

Log Directory, No log등의 Log를 사용할 Level을 정하게 되어

있습니다. 간략히 말씀드리면 Log all은 Backup을 받은 모두 File에

대한 List를 DB화 하는것이고, Log Directory는 Directory까지만

DB화 하는 것입니다. 물론 No log는 Log를 저장하지 않는 것입니다.

차이점은 Restore를 하기 위한 작업을 할때 Log all Level은

Restore Menu에서 필요한 File들을 직접 선택을 할 수 있는 것이며

Log Directory는 Directory까지만 선택을 하고 필요한 File은

Restore 하는 분이 직접 입력을 하시는 것이지요. 물론 No log는

필요한 File의 모든 경로 및 File명을 작업자가 모두 입력해야

합니다. 즉, Restore 대상에 관하여 잘 알고 있다면 특별히 Log를

지정하지 않아도 되는 것입니다.

위의 메세지에서 보시듯 Backup 자체가 문제가 생긴것은 아닙니다.

DataProtector 가 처리하는 과정중에 일부(Log 처리)가 문제가

생긴것입니다.



저도 이러한 문제를 오래전에 겪어보아 정확한 명령어를 기술해

드리기는 어려울 것 같습니다.

해결을 위한 방법은 Data Protector DB를 ASCII File로 Backup을

받으시고 DB를 Purge하신 후에 다시 생성하시면 문제가 해결되실

걸로 생각됩니다. 한번 해 보시고 해결이 되시지 않았다면 다시

글 올려 주십시요.
