panic 떨어지고 시스템이 리붓되었습니다..

ts99 파일 분석 했는데..

internal scsi쪽 패치가 필요하다고 합니다.

10.20도, support plus같은 패치팩이 있나요??

있음...최신버전이 언제꺼죠?

어떤패치 해야하는지 좀 알려주세요..^^

10.20 용 patch 는 더이상support하지 않습니다.



최신의 bundle patch는 support plus2002년 12월것으로 알고 있습니다.



혹시어떤 patch number를 적용하여야 하는지 알고 계시면 제가 찾아 보겠습니다.



HP에 문의를 하여 지원을 받으시는것이 제일 좋지만 장담은 못합니다.



작년에 HP에서 hpux 10.X version에 대해 더이상 support하지 않는다고 공문을 보낸것으로 알고 있습니다.



대략적인 내용은 더이상 suport하지 않으므로 upgrade하라는 내용으로 알고 있습니다.

PHKL_21568:

Hardware monitors which are designed for SCSI peripherals

connected to the system via HP-PB bus, may panic the system

if any of the pages in the diag0 buffer is read access only.

The panic is a data memory protection fault. System must be

an architecture 2.0 system with cache coherency (CCIO). The

stack trace when diag0 communicates through the scsi3 driver

is as follows:

The diag0 driver will hang on systems without CCIO.



PHKL_20327:

Telnet and rlogin into the system hang. May also see a

system hang. The problem occurs on running on-line

diagnostic tool on NIO Fast/Wide SCSI Interface cards.



PHKL_17701:

STM disk/cd-rom on-line diagnostic tools on S800 systems

with large number of disks/cd-rom devices will exit with

incomplete status on some devices.



Defect Description:

PHKL_21568:

(SR: 8606134469 CR: JAGad03604)

diag0 does not do anything with the pages of the diag0

buffer from user space. The system panics when the I/O

driver tries to write data to the diag0 buffer and the page

only has read access.



Resolution:

The call to physio with diag0 was changed to pass in

B_READ instead of B_WRITE, which will make sure all pages

in the diag0 buffer have read and write access.



PHKL_20327:

( SR: 4701431098 DTS: JAGab63224 )

Diag0 falls into a loop if the release of the port fails.



Resolution:

Modified code to handle the case when the release of the

port fails.



PHKL_17701:

Diag0 diagnostic driver does not allow access to NIO

devices with port numbers higher than 1536.

Resolution: Redesigned diag0 internal structure to remove

this limitation.

1. Back up your system before installing a patch.



2. Login as root.



3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.



4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:



cd /tmp

sh PHKL_21568



5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the

patch:



swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \

-s /tmp/PHKL_21568.depot



By default swinstall will archive the original software in

/var/adm/sw/patch/PHKL_21568. If you do not wish to retain a

copy of the original software, you can create an empty file

named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.



WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the

patch cannot be deinstalled. Please be careful

when using this feature.



It is recommended that you move the PHKL_21568.text file to

/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.



To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the

tape drive, use the command:



dd if=/tmp/PHKL_21568.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k
