ha로 구성된 node1 server의 syslog가 다음과같은 에러를 발생시킵니다. 기종은 rx7620이구요...무슨의미인지 몰라서 올립니다.

Firmware bug 문제 입니다.

CELL BOARD에서 정보를 주어야 하는데, 그 정보를 얻지 못해 나오는 것으로 RX7620의경우 SYSTEM F/W V4.0 이상으로 업그레이드 하시면 됩니다. 시스템에 큰영향은 없지만 vPAR 사용시에는 DOWN을 야기할 수 있습니다.



결국 펌웨어 업그레이드 하시면 해결 됩니다.

iCOD errors logged in syslod.log are caused by HW cell controller hang. Is

there a procedure to reset the cell?



The full error message collected in syslog.log is:

syslog: icodd: ERROR: The following low-level error occurred:

ERROR: Failure reading iCOD data from Dynamic Profile.

ERROR: The following low-level WBEM error occurred: Software error.

RESOLUTION







This message indicates that the iCAP software daemons cannot communicate with

the hardware cell(s) anymore. One common reason is that the cell controller is

hung and needs to be restarted. The following procedure should be run from the

system MP prompt on the console:



NOTE: This is safe to do with the partition up and running.



MP:CM> ru

This command resets the selected MP bus device.

B - BPS (Bulk Power Supply)

A - PACI (Partition Console Interface)

G - MP (Management Processor)

H - PDHC (Cell Board Controller)

Select device: h

Enter cell number: 1

Do you want to reset the Cell PDH Controller Slot 1? (Y/) y

-> The selected MP bus device will be reset.

MP:CM>



It may be necessary to reset all the cells on the system.



Note: iCOD stands for "instant capacity on demand". The new term is

iCAP or "instant capacity".
