BL860 OS backup 은 어떤 방법으로 ??

안녕하세요
여러 고수님들의 답변 항상 감사하게 생각 합니다.
blade system 관련 하여 질문좀 드리려고 합니다..
C7000 encloser 에 bl860c 블레이드를 풀로 장착하여
사용하고 있습니다.
시스템을 이전 해야 할 상황이 생기어
OS 백업을 수행하려 하는데..
blade server 는 OS 백업을 어떤 방법으로 수행하는지
혹은 사용할 수 있는 USB type DAT drive 가 있는지
알고 싶습니다.
전면부에 삼발이(?) 장착 후 사용이 가능할까요?
외장 DVD 롬은 되긴하던데..
고수님들의 조언 기다립니다..(__)

안녕하세요??
블레이드는 따로 scsi카드가 없어서 DAT driver를 연결할수없습니다
os 백업을 받으려면 별도의 ignite서버를 구축해서
os백업을 받아야합니다...
usb dat는 연결 안되는걸로 알고 있습니다 (NT용입니다)

참고 하세요..

Check/Create Ignite Server
Make the Server and NFS server
# vi /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf
NFS_CLIENT="1"
NFS_SERVER="1"

# /sbin/init.d/nfs.server start
# /sbin/init.d/nfs.client start

Start Ignite Server and go through Configuration Steps
# /opt/ignite/bin/ignite

Setup IP for the client. Use the Cross-Over cable IP address.
eg. 10.1.1.5 0x00306EEA77F9
Skip Depot Configuration.
Skip DHCP Setup



Check the instl_boottab File
This would have been setup when the client was created above. Check it to be sure.
Check the assign IP and MAC address.
Use the -mgt address and the mac address on lan0.
If you do not have any unassigned IP's available and you are using the /etc/opt/ignite/instl_boottab, reserve the client's IP and the corresponding MAC address by inserting a line with the reserve option:
# vi /etc/opt/ignite/instl_boottab

Example of ssisapp1 was:
10.1.1.4:0x000F203C7254::reserve
Setup for Itanium Client Only
For Itanium clients only. For the corptech systems the this will be done on the PA-RISC servers as they will boot the Itanium clients.
Itanium clients send a DHCP/BOOTP broadcast into the subnet, choosing the server, which answers first.
Modify /etc/inetd.conf
Comment out
#bootps dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/bootpd bootpd

Add:
bootps dgram udp wait root /opt/ignite/lbin/instl_bootd instl_bootd
Both itanium and pa-risc.
Make sure the following are uncommented.

shell stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/remshd remshd
exec stream tcp nowait root /usr/lbin/rexecd rexecd

# inetd -c (to re-read the file)



Check version of Ignite on the Client and Server
# swlist -l bundle B5725AA

# swlist -l bundle | grep -i Ignite-UX
B5725AA C.6.0.109 HP-UX Installation Utilities (Ignite-UX)
Ignite-UX-11-11 C.6.0.109 HP-UX Installation Utilities for Installing 11.11 Systems
Ignite-UX-11-23 C.6.0.109 HP-UX Installation Utilities for Installing 11.23 Systems
Make sure version is the same on both systems.

Ignite 서버 구성밖에 답이 없군요..-_-
첨부터 Ignite 서버를 구성하여 시스템을 구축 했어야
했는데...번거롭게 되어뿟네요..ㅎㅎ;
