안녕하세요~

rx server에 windows2003을 올리려고 합니다.

cpu는 mx가 언급되지 않은걸로 봐서 single type구요.

작업시 팁같은거 있나요?

메뉴얼 보니 fs2(CD-ROM)으로 들어가서 ESP,MSP,OS DATA 이렇게 3개를

꼭 만들고 시작해야 하는 것 같은데....

위 URL에서 Smart Setup CD 3.40 ISO Image File 을 다운로드 하시고 CD-ROM으로 구우신후 이 CD로 Booting 하시면 설치가 간단합니다.

물론 Windows 2003 64bit CD을 넣으시고 install.efi (setup.efi인가 쩝~) 을 실행시키시면 됩니다. (가급적 Smart setup CD 하세요 걍 하다가 설치 못하는 경우가 많이 발생합니다)

윈도우를 설치할려면 3개의 파티션이 필요합니다.



그래서 ia 에서 bdf 치면 c0t1d0s2 s라는 파티션이 있는거죠..



스마트cd 가 간단하게 파티션을 나누어줍니다. diskpart.efi 라는 명령어로 할수도 있습니다. 일일이 명령어를 쳐야하기때문에 좀 불편하죠..



diskpart 사용법





This article describes how to create a GUID partition table (GPT)

partition (where GUID is the abbreviation for globally unique

identifier) on a raw disk, by using the Diskpart utility -

Diskpart.efi.



Create a GUID Partition Table Partition on a Raw Disk



To create a GPT partition on a raw disk by using the Diskpart

utility:



1. At a command prompt, type: diskpart to start the

Diskpart utility: "Diskpart version 0.0" is displayed

as well as a Diskpart prompt.



2. At the prompt, type: list to list the mounted hard

drive volumes.



3. At the prompt, type: select x (where x is the number

of the hard disk drive that you want to convert to

GPT). The following information is displayed:



"Selected Disk = x"



4. At the prompt, type: new gpt to add the GPT information

into the non-volatile RAM (NVRAM).



NOTE: This step does not create the GPT partition

information. At the prompt, type:



create name="efi system partition" type=efisys Size=102



to create the Extensible Firmware Interface

(EFI) partition.



NOTE: The name can be any desired name, but if the

name has spaces in it, the name must have

quotes around it. The type must equal either

Efisys, Msres, or Msdata. If a size is not

specified, the partition uses the remaining

unpartitioned space. To install Windows XP,

the Msdata partition must contain at least

2 gigabytes (GB) of free space.



5. At the prompt, type:



create name="microsoft reserved" type=msres Size=31



to create the MSR partition.



6. At the prompt, type:



create name="basic data" type=msdata



to create a partition for the remaining

unpartitioned space.



7. At the prompt, type: inspect to display the

partition information.



8. At the prompt, type: exit to quit the Diskpart

utility.



To locate the Diskpart utility:



If Windows XP 64-Bit Edition is installed, the Diskpart

utility (Diskpart.efi) is found in the Msutil folder on

the EFI partition of the first hard disk drive.



If the hard disk is raw, use another computer to expand

the \IA64\Diskpart.ef_ folder from the Windows XP CD-ROM

to a floppy disk or LS120 disk.



The definitions of the GPT-type partitions are:



Msres: The Microsoft reserved partition for feature

support that is used to convert a basic disk

to dynamic.



Efisys: The EFI system partition that is required for

boot operations.



Msdata: The user data partition that is used by

Microsoft Windows.

이 메세지가 나오기 바로전 2~3초 나오는 메세지가 있는데 그건 켑쳐해서

첨부로 보내드립니다.

지원: Shell> 에서 Windows Server 로 사용하기 위해서 다음과 같이 셋팅 하여야 합니다.

acpiconfig 명령은 shell> 프롬프트에서 써야합니다.



체크방법

Shell> acpiconfig

Acpiconfig settings: windows

고치기

Shell> default

Shell> acpiconfig windows

windows setting have been enabled.

A reset is requited for the settings to take effect.

OS Loader file 을 새롭게 import 해보시기 바랍니다.

1. Insert the image drive to the system.

2. Boot the system and go to the EFI Shell.

3. Access the image directory, for example, Shell>fs0:

DIR

5. Enter the command:

CE MSUTIL

6. Enter the command:

NVRBOOT

7. Select I to import the OS loader of the image to the server's NVRAM.

8. Type the path of the boot file.

Enter IMPORT File Path: \EFI\microsoft\winnt50\boot0000.

Locate your boot file path before entering NVBOOT

9. When completed , the booot option displays in NVRBOOT and on the EFIboot Manager
