MP firmware 관련 질문입니다.

장비는 rx 2620 이고여

장비버전은

MP FW : E.02.26

BMC FW : 03.47

EFI FW : 03.14

System FW : 03.17



MP firmware update 를 하기위해 최신패치를 PHSS_32498.depot다운받아 OS상에서 설치했는데 fail 이나면서

This patch PHSS_32498 cannot be installed on the machine

having MP firmware revision less than E.02.29

Please upgrade the MP firmware to E.02.29 before

installing this patch.



이렇게 떠서 제가 PHSS_30680.depot 패치 E02.29 를 받아 설치했는데

If you wish to install PHSS_30680 even though it does not

apply, you can force the installation of the patch by

touching the file '/tmp/force_patch_install' before

installing the patch. This may be useful when creating

a 'golden' archive image for Ignite-UX that may be used

on several different hardware platforms. Even though

the installation of PHSS_30680 can be forced, the MP

firmware will not be modified since it does not apply to

this hardware model.

이런 메시지가 나오면서 설치가 안되네요 어떻게 된건지

당췌 알수가 없네용

일단 MP만 올리시기 원하신다면 할수 없지만 System Firmware을 같이 올리는것을 권고합니다.

패치은 PHSS_34995 을 다운받으시고 설치해보십시오



설치방법은 다음과 같습니다.



1. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

# cd /tmp

# sh PHSS_34995



2. Run swinstall to install the patch:

# swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \

-s /tmp/PHSS_34995.depot
