현재 카드는 정상적으로 fumsutil에 online상태입니다.



어떤 현상으로 나타났는지. 경험하신 분 답변부탁드립니다. 그럼.

경험은 해 보지 못했지만.. 위 에러로그로 ITRC를 찾아 본 결과

현재 카드에 fc cable로 연결된 디바이스가 있다면 아래 내용처럼 잘 못된 설정으로 생긴 문제라고 합니다...

패치나 소프트웨어가 정상적으로 설치되었는지 아래 내용을 참고하셔서 체크해 보시기 바랍니다..^^

그리고 만약 FC카드에 어떤 디바이스도 연결되어 있지 않다면

/var/stm/config/sys/diaglogd.cfg 파일에 아래내용을 수정하여서

dialogd데몬을 Restart하면 됩니다.

그러면 에러메세지를 더 이상 뿌리지 않습니다..

PROBLEM

A system is getting the following errors in dmesg and syslog. He gets

the errors when he runs ioscan -fn and when system boots all devices

are available.

What does this mean?

A review of the ioscan output shows no devices configured at td1 path

and td3:

The fibre channel cards are connected to the switch but no devices were

configured. The system admin did not zone any devices to be seen by this

card.



To summarize, here is a short definition of what ct_query is doing:



CT stands for Common Transport. FC-CT protocol is the protocol used to

communicate with services on the switch/fabric. These services are referenced

through well-known N_Port IDs. An example of such a service is the Name Server

which resides at N_Port ID 0xFFFFFC. We can think of CT Server as a superset of

Name Server.

ct_query is Common Transport protocol which is used with Fibre Channel.



For new installs, it indicates something wrong with the configuration,maybe a card not completely installed, etc.
