shadow파일관련

안녕하세요



hp-ux 11.23(IA64)입니다.

shadow파일을 사용할까 하여

pwconv 해보았으나 /etc/shadow파일이 생성되지

않았습니다.

*Warning*: There is a restriction on the use of shadow password

functionality in this release of HP-UX. Failure to consider this

limitation may lead to an inability to log in to the system after

the conversion is performed. A system converted to use shadow

passwords is not compatible with any repository other than files

and ldap. This means that the passwd entry in the nsswitch.conf

file must not contain nis, nis+, or dce.



Would you like to proceed with the conversion? (yes/no): y

Exiting without performing the conversion.

nsswitch.conf 가 있으신가요?



당연히 resolv.conf 도 쓰시겠네요.



DNS를 쓰지 않으신다면 관련 파일은 다지워보세요.



꼭 쓰셔야 된다면 nsswitch.conf 중에



hosts 부분만 빼고 다른 부분은 # 으로 막으세요.

답변감사합니다.

문제는 제 OS가 hp-ux 11.23입니다.

즉, 추가의 depot을 설치 하지 않아도 되는것으로 알고 있고

depot도 역시 11.11용까지 나와있습다.



또한

/etc/nsswitch.con, /etc/resolv.conf 파일을 모두

mv 한 후

#>pwconv해보아도 마찬가지로

/etc/shadow파일은 생성되지 않습니다.

왜그러죠?

y는 인식이 안되어 Exiting without performing the conversion란 메세지를 보내며 생성되지 않습니다.
