shutdown_delay_mins

The number of minutes following notification by the

first upstty that its corresponding UPS is operating on

internal (battery) power, before ups_mond initiates

shutdown -h. The default is one minute. This value

should be set to account for transient power

interruptions, if they are common to the site.



shutdown_timeout_mins

The number of minutes to monitor the shutdown -h

operation before initiating reboot with the halt option

(RB_HALT; see reboot(2)). The default is five minutes.

This value should be longer than the longest time the

system requires to execute shutdown(1M). Note that

after the value of shutdown_timeout_mins has elapsed, a

UPS lacking AC line voltage will power off. When AC

line voltage is restored, the UPS will restore power to

its output. This timeout value should not be so much

longer than shutdown that an observer may become

impatient. It is important to note that this value is

the period for which the UPS will delay its power-

cycling, even if AC power is restored sooner.

shutdown_delay_mins

해당 UPS가 ups_mond로 하여금 shutdown -h를 시작하기 전에, 내부 배터리를 동작하도록

첫번째 upstty에 의해 지정되는 분 수. 기본 1분입니다. 이 값은 사이트에서 전원 차단이

잦을 경우에 일시적인 전원 차단을 보호하기 위해 지정하는 값입니다.



shutdown_timeout_mins

halt 옵션을 갖는 reboot을 시작하기전에(RB_HALT: reboot(2)를 참조) shutdown -h 동작을

모니터하는 분 수이며 기본은 5분입니다. 이 값은 시스템이 shutdown(1M)을 실행하는데 필

요한 가장 긴 시간보다 길어야 합니다. shutdown_timeout_mins의 값을 초과한 후에는 AC라

인의 전압이 부족한 UPS는 power off됨을 유의하십시요. 이 timeout 값은 데몬이 기다릴 수

있는 시간보다 길어서는 안됩니다. 이값은 UPS가 AC전원이 곧 복구되는 경우에도

power-cycling을 지연할 수 있는 시간이라는 것을 잊지 않아야 합니다.



kill_after_shutdown(나중에 생긴 option)

정전후 전원이 복전 되었을 때 시스템을 자동적으로 booting시킬 경우 option N 을 선택하고(default),

만약, 복전후 시스템에 전원인가를(자동적으로 booting) 원하지 않을 때 option Y를 선택하면 됩니다.



ups의 상태는 기기마다 다른데 보통은 LAMP로 많이 확인을 합니다.
