안녕하세요.

현재 lan2,lan3번을 묶어서 apa를 구성하고 있는 상태입니다.

구성 방식은 LAN_monitor 방식 입니다.

lanscan -q

900 2 3

여기에 virtual IP를 추가 하려고 합니다.

/etc/rc.config.d/netconf에 900:1 을 추가하고

/sbin/init.d/net stop, /sbin/init.d/net start를 했습니다.

그런데 /etc/rc.config.d/netconf에 lan2번이 등록 되어있기 때문인지 error:lan2 interface: IP address already in use라고

나옵니다. 그러나 netstat -in으로 보면 900:1이 올라오긴 합니다.

lan_monitor방식으로 apa가 구성 되어있을때 virtual IP설정하는

방법을 알고싶습니다. 도움 부탁드립니다.

방법은 아래와 같습니다.



lan0 에 IP을 주시면 APA lm이 start 되면서 lan900으로 변경됩니다. 이것처럼 lan0:1, lan0:2을 만들고 IP을 주시면 이것이 lan900:1, lan900:2로 올라 옵니다.



netconf에 lan0:1, lan0:2을 만드시고 net start후 lan monitor을 구성하십시오

HP-UX Auto Port Aggregation (APA) - How Do Alias IP Addresses Get Assigned to a LAN Monitor Failover Group

QUESTION:

I have run lanqueryconf and found the interface that I want to use as the primary interface (lan0 in this case), but I have alias IPs assigned to lan0:1 and lan0:2 . They do not show up in the resulting lanconfig /etc/lanmon/lanconfig.ascii file. How do I get them included in the failover group, in this case lan900 ?



ANSWER:

Assign the IP addresses to lan0:1 and lan0:2 in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf by specifying the IP_INTERFACE_NAME=lan0:1 or lan0:2 , as appropriate.



When the /sbin/init.d/hp_lm script runs the lanapplyconf command, the IP for lan0 gets moved to lan900 .



For example lan0:1 becomes lan900:1 , and lan0:2 becomes lan900:2 .



The alias IPs should not be referenced in the lanconfig.ascii file.
