ich wollte auf eine HP-9000 K220 Server mit HP-UX 11.0 Betriebssystem einen HSC 1000 Base-SX/9000- Netzwerkkarte installieren, um besseren Performance zu erreichen. Aber auf dem HSC-Slot war ein weiterer SCSI-Controller angeschlossen, der den zweiten Plattenstrang fnr Plattenspiegelung ansteuert. Deswegen haben wir anstelle des HSC-SCSI-Controller den HP-PB-SCSI 2 Hostadapter (28696A) eingesetzt, um die neue Netzwerkarte an den HSC-Slot anzuschlie?en.

Problem:
Der HP-PB-SCSI 2 Hostadapter (28696A)wird vom System (mit ioscan) als "lan" erkannt und somit die darauf angeschlossenen Harddisk's werden auch vom System erkannt. Laut Dokumentation soll aber der neue SCSI-PB-Hostadapter bei der Installation automatisch erkannt werden (Plug&Play)

Frage:
Muss man an der Konfiguration des Systems fnr den SCSI-PB-Hostadapter und den HSC 1000 Base-SX/9000- Netzwerkkarte etwas machen, damit sie richtig erkannt werden ?

Ich werde mich freuen, wenn ich sich beznglich dieser Angelegenheit jemand melden wnrde.
