3PAR 7400 usable space
Hi every one.
I have a question about usable space on 3PAR.
I Have a 3PAR 7400 with two nodes and this disks.
144HDD x 300GB 15k
40HDD x 900GB 10k
8HDD x 200GB SSD
When I get into the Management Console I can see the next data.
The system reports 116,728.000GiB as total RAW space.
The 31% is Allocated and 69% is free.
The 88% of the allocated space is for CPGs Volumes
The 11% of the allocated space is for system spare and
The other 1% of the allocated space is for system internal
Also I have this information, is a CSV file.

This is my question, Is there a quick way to know what is the free usable space in all the system?
Thanks...
P.S. This post and replies have been split off this post and any replies and move to Storage Area Networks (SAN)(Enterprise).

Invoke the CLI and use the showspace command. You probably have to specify the RAID type to make sure you get a correct estimate.
