3PAR File Persona NFSv4 client
Hi,
I am trying mount a 3PAR File Persona share in a CentOS 7 clients over NFS v4 and i am getting the error of "failed, reason given by server: No such file or directory". Surprisingly this issue is not happening with RHEL6/CentOS6 clients. Anyone suggest me what tweaking we need to do on RHEL7/CentOS clients to mount 3PAR File Persona shares over NFSv4. Some google searches suggesting me to put "fsid=0" in the export entries, but 3PAR File Persona is not accepting this option.
# mount -o vers=4 13.2.126.248:/FPG1/FPG1VFS1/FPG1FSTORE2/Share2 /tmp/Share1/
mount.nfs: mounting 13.2.126.248:/FPG1/FPG1VFS1/FPG1FSTORE2/Share2 failed, reason given by server: No such file or directory
Thanks & Regards,
Shashi Kanth.

You probably need to contact HPE Support.

Re: 3PAR File Persona NFSv4 client
Using NFSV4 is required IDMAP on File persona level and also how is the authentication policy and share Permissions
don't use fsid since File persona will assign automatically.
showfshare nfs -d will show us the permissions of shares and it would help us to know, my suggestion would be log case with File persona and engage RTCC Engineer
