3PAR node cage Module Fault LED flash and cgcmd command reports Comms layer fault - redundant

Hi,

Please give me help about below problem. Appreciate for your reply and advisor!

The 3PAR is a 7400 with 2 controllers, OS is 3.2.2 EMU4.

The front Module Fault LED of node cage is flashing, and cgcmd command reports Comms layer fault - redundant. The full output is:

SS7400_N2 cli% cgcmd -tc tty -C cage0 -c report_faults -p a

Re: 3PAR node cage Module Fault LED flash and cgcmd command reports Comms layer fault - redundant

Hello louisji2008,

It seems you have a hardware issue mostly with Node 1.  Please check the 'shownodeenv' command output and I am sure you will find some values 'unrecoverable'.

I suggest contacting Support for rectifying this issue.
